FAIRYTALE GERMANDESTINATION WEDDING

I had the privilege of photographing Sven and Lisa's beautiful German wedding in Mallinckrodthof, Borchen, Germany. It was a wonderful experience to be part of this fantastic couple's love story. The ceremony was followed by a breathtaking garden wedding reception.

Their big day started with some special moments while the groom was getting ready with his son and his best man. I loved capturing those gorgeous photo's with the groom and his son as he tied his shoes and some sweet hugs and kisses.

After that, I went to the bride to photograph all her beautiful wedding details and some fantastic bridal portraits. I loved all the beautiful bridal accessories in soft pink vintage colors. She had beautiful pearl earrings and a delicate diamond chain to complete her look. Her bouquet was stunning with delicate pink roses and matching floral hair accessories.

The bride looked gorgeous with her makeup by Olivia Klimala. Her long blonde hair looked amazing with soft, flowing curls. Lisa wore a dream dress with delicate lace details by BeccaLoreen. Sven wore an elegant suit from the Hövel fashion house.

The “first look” when the groom came around the building in a classic Mercedes and saw his beautiful bride to be, was spectacular. The groom couldn't stop smiling, it was a wonderful moment to experience.

The ceremony was so beautiful with lots of laughter and even some tears. After the formalities were completed, the couple left the chapel and the newlyweds each had scissors in hand and had to cut the heart out of a large piece of cloth. When the heart was cut out, the bridegroom and his bride climbed through it. Following this tradition, it was time for the formal group photo and the champagne reception.

After the nice champagne reception we had some time for the bride and groom portrait session and it was really something out of this world. I just loved the old building as a traditional backdrop. Thereafter it was time for the festive garden reception. It was a lovely afternoon with delicious food, some traditional wedding games and even a magician.

The first dance was really beautiful when their friends and family formed a circle of love with star lights surrounding them. What a wonderful celebration of love!
